Just for fun!



Certainly, this is not the healthiest recipe I've ever shared, but it was fun and quite delicious. My granddaughter and I made these yesterday. I think it would be particularly nice to make on a camping trip!

Mock Mushrooms

1 can cream of mushroom soup
30 soda crackers (crumbled)
2 eggs (beaten)

Mix together well. Drop by spoonfuls into hot lard and fry until golden brown, turning over once.

Drain on brown paper or paper towels.

The four of us ate every one!

  1. There are some things that we wish were not public but they taste so good that once in while are OK.

    I just made pork rinds for lunch yesterday, just to think about it make me feel guilty. But, oh boy were they good.
