The greenhouse in October

Swiss Chard, being prepared for dinner. I sliced it all up, steamed it, added butter, salt and a little pepper. Oooooo! Very tasty.

  2. It must be nice to walk to your green house and still get those green findings. Here is getting colder that my herbs won't last much in the balcony.

  4. Elie, my husband built it. The hoops are rebar covered with black pvc pipe. He fabricated the door end and the window end himself. The hoops sit in short pieces of pipe attached to a wooden frame at the bottom. It is all covered with greenhouse plastic held on by wood strips and screws. He got the idea from Elliott Colemans' book.
