...was the valance I made today for the kitchen window. I had to do it twice. The first attempt turned out to be much too short, but I do like how it turned out in the end:
I wash dishes by hand, so it is very nice to have a window to look out of... to watch the birds, and the changing seasons. :) The valance makes the window look nicer, but it also keeps the sun from shining directly into my eyes.

DeleteNice. Every kitchen window needs a window to look out, in my opinion. Makes the time spent at the sink more pleasant.
