Yolanda, that is a lovely batch of sweet potatoes and family members too. We've never tried growing sweet potatoes. I always figured it was a warmer climate crop.
Our frost free season is about 5 months long and they grow very well here. :)
Ours is technically 5-15 to 9-15 and it was pretty close this year. It is a rush to get things out as soon as possible but not too soon and then get it all in and ripened before everything slows down after Labor Day.
Your sweet potato crop is amazing. I have never planted any kind of potato but wish to do so soon. Good job.
