Love your tip. Would you share your recipe for egg salad? I never ate it, but my son’s girl friend misses it and I’ve tried, but can’t seem to get it right. Thanks!
Patti, I don't measure anything, but here is how I make it. Dice the eggs, as above. Add "some" mayo ( I make my own) a little at a time. You don't want to add more than it needs. Then I put in a little prepared yellow mustard, a bit of salt to taste, some homemade sweet pickle relish and just a little bit of sugar. I do it by taste. I hope that helps. :)
I will have to remember this tip. Its a good one. I use my pizza cutter to cut up many things besides pizza but I don't think I have used my pastry blender in this way before.
I received a pastry cutter like that years and years ago and have used it for various jobs. I never use for mixing crust though as I always use the 2 table knife method.
Such a clever idea. It's now on my 'to do' list
